CHRIS BROWN "F.A.M.E" ALBUM REVIEW

Bouncing back from what was the commercial failure of “Graffiti”, Chris Brown returns with his 4th album “F.A.M.E”.  This LP marks his 2nd album released since the Grammy night drama which changed his career for the worst, but like every fighter, Chris has remained strong and has managed to deliver another package of music.

“Deuces” starts the album off, which would be a good choice, being that, that was the song that helped put his career back on track, or could it have been following peer Trey Songz and going for the more mature and oversexed musical image he’s brought forth with tracks such as “No Bullshit”, “Wet The Bed”, and “Beg For It”.

With “F.A.M.E” Chris let’s go of the many auto-tuned drenched tracks that made up the tracklisting of “Graffiti’, and returns to the R&B roots which birthed his debut.  The 2nd single lifted from the project, “Yeah 3x” finds itself lost and out of place with the rest of the songs, but Chris does get the pop tracks right with “Oh My Love” which will be sure to make the underground ballroom dance scene happy.

Chris has brought forth a solid album, and will surely make all fans happy. There is something for all genres of fans, whether black, white, gay or straight. One of the standout tracks from the set is the Benny Benassi assisted “Beautiful People”. Chris attacks overused dance craze in music at this time, but brings forth deeper lyrics to go along with the banging bass and synths. The Justin Bieber duet “Next 2 You” will surely send the Bieber nation into a frenzy and gain Brown, a wider fan base  while doing so. This album will surely do what “Grafiti” didn’t do and reinforce what was once Chris’s rising star in the music industy. Welcome back!
