The queen of hip-hop & soul Mary J. Blige poses for the June issue of Essence magazine making it the 12th time on the cover. The magazine is also promoting the Essence Music Festival that will be taking place in June in New Orleans where Mary will be headlining the event. For the very first time she was the guest editor for the special issue where she talks about topics ranging from fashion to money. The issue will hit newsstands on May 11th.
