Nicki Minaj's song "Right By My Side" featuring r&b crooner Chris Brown turned out to be one of the nest tracks on her Roman Reloaded album & become of the best singles of the year. According to songwriter/singer Ester Dean the song was about Chris & Rihanna's relationship which the revealed during a interview with Jam'N 94.5, in the interview Dean says "Well, a little secret: I wrote that song for Chris & Rihanna. I wrote it for her from him. But he didn't know that. I just felt like i wanted to say that to her from him." She then goes on to say "I'm so sorry Chris" apologizing for simply not letting him know that from the beginning.

It is very surprising that Chris did not know that these were the intentions of Ester Dean simply because his verse in "Right By My Side" sounds like he is relaying a message to someone that he will always love.
