After Monday's intense verbal altercation between Nicki Minaj & Mariah Carey things continue to heat up, after Carey spoke out & said that Minaj allegedly said that she was going to shoot her the producers of Idol & the rapper both have said that it was untrue. Since the incident Mariah has felt on edge due to the alleged comment & has increased her security, she showed up to a photo shoot for American Idol in Baton Rouge with a police escort to help ensure her safety.
It is very funny how many who weren't directly involved in the situation on Monday have continued to bash Nicki Minaj because of the way she responded to Carey as if Carey is above anyone to receive disrespect. No matter who you are if someone feels as though you disrespected them then they are entitled to speak their mind & defend themselves, if you can't take the heat then keep your mouth closed. Regardless of what happened hopefully the talent of this upcoming season of American Idol will be the main focus & not a simple cat fight.
