Earlier this year news hit the internet that Brandy & her fiancé Ryan Press had split up but the Grammy award winning singer never spoke on the matter publicly. A rep for Brandy has now confirmed that the couple have officially gone their separate ways. The rep tells Us Weekly "They are no longer together. The engagement is off but the friendship is still on."

Norwood first announced their engagement back in 2012 to the Warner/Chappell music executive. On behalf of the 35 year old singer her rep goes on to say "They decided to take a step back & reevaluate the relationship. Brandy is now 35 -- that's what her whole #35 on twitter is about, becoming her own woman."
“Brandy has a daughter and she still wants to be married and have more kids but she is working on so many other things right now,” said the rep. “They haven’t ended things on a bad note and they still speak all the time.”
We all wish Brandy the very best because that's exactly what she deserves. I wonder if the music on her next album will speak on the break up...?
