Nicki Minaj has been promoting her third album The Pinkprint all over the U.S. for the past few weeks. During a interview with Angie Martinez on Power 105 in New York the platinum selling rapper was overcome with emotion when asked about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels who is mostly known as her hype man SB. Martinez asked about the relationship being the inspiration for her new album & Nicki went into detail about the new music & the feeling that she currently still has for her former lover who she has known for 12 years.

For some years many people of the media & even fans suspected that the two were an item but neither Minaj or Samuels ever came out & officially announced that they were indeed in a committed relationship. It was just recently over the Summer that the speculations were confirmed once information hit the internet about their break-up.
