The legacy of Selena Quintanilla Perez continues to shine bright 20 years after her death all with the loving support of her fans. Last years her fans banded together & begun a petition on change.org to get the attention of MAC cosmetics in hopes of them producing a special make-up line for the Tejano singer. After much media attention, the popular company agreed to release a line that would consist of products that Selena herself wore many years ago.
Today Selena's official Facebook account announced the lines first product that's called "Como La Flor" after her famed song. It is a lipstick that is the shade of purple just like what she enjoyed wearing.
Chris Perez who was her husband at the time of her death also took to Facebook to make the exciting announcement showing his support & appreciation.
The Selena line will officially be released for purchase in October of this year!
