A few days ago Mary J. Blige gave the first live performance of her new single "Why" on American Idol. The r&b songstress has teamed up with Rick Ross to film the music video for the song, while on set Blige & Ross took a picture together to show fans. The single is on Mary's latest studio album My Life II that is in stores now.
